Refund Policy

Last Updated: 11 September 2026

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, rescheduling and booking changes are handled for tours, activities, attractions, transfers, private experiences and other travel-related services booked through Tabi.

Refund eligibility may vary depending on the specific experience, service provider, booking conditions and cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.

1. Cancellation and Refund Eligibility

Each tour, activity, ticket, transfer or experience may have its own cancellation and refund conditions.

Depending on the booking, it may be:

  • Fully refundable when cancelled within the permitted cancellation period
  • Partially refundable
  • Non-refundable
  • Non-changeable after confirmation
  • Subject to cancellation or administrative charges

Where specific cancellation conditions are provided on the experience page, quotation, invoice, booking confirmation or customer communication, those conditions will apply to that booking.

2. Customer Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a booking, please contact Tabi as soon as possible and provide your booking details.

Cancellation requests may be submitted through:

  • Email
  • WhatsApp
  • Phone
  • Any other communication channel provided by Tabi for the booking

A cancellation is not considered complete until it has been acknowledged or confirmed by Tabi or the relevant service provider.

3. Cancellation Deadlines

Cancellation deadlines vary between experiences and service providers.

Some bookings may allow free cancellation before a specified deadline, while others may become partially or fully non-refundable once the cancellation period has passed.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the cancellation conditions associated with their booking before making payment or confirming the reservation.

4. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain products and services may be non-refundable once confirmed.

These may include, depending on the applicable provider's conditions:

  • Attraction tickets
  • Dated admission tickets
  • Special event tickets
  • Promotional or discounted bookings
  • Private or customised arrangements
  • Bookings requiring advance supplier payment
  • Last-minute reservations
  • Other services specifically marked as non-refundable

Where a booking is non-refundable, this will be communicated where applicable before or during the booking process.

5. No-Shows

A customer who does not arrive at the agreed meeting point, attraction or pickup location at the confirmed time may be considered a no-show.

No-show bookings are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.

This also applies where the customer misses the experience because of personal delays, incorrect pickup information or failure to arrive on time.

6. Late Arrival

Customers are responsible for arriving on time for their booked experience.

Where a customer arrives late and the service provider is unable to accommodate them, the booking may be treated as a no-show and may not qualify for a refund.

If alternative arrangements can be made, additional charges may apply.

7. Incorrect Booking Information

Tabi is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

This may include incorrect:

  • Travel dates
  • Participant names
  • Number of guests
  • Phone numbers
  • Pickup locations
  • Email addresses
  • Age or participant information

Where a booking cannot be used because incorrect information was supplied, any refund will depend on the applicable service provider's terms.

8. Date Changes and Rescheduling

Requests to change the booking date or time are subject to availability and the conditions of the relevant service provider.

Some bookings may allow free changes before a specified deadline, while others may involve additional charges or may not permit changes after confirmation.

A rescheduling request is not confirmed until Tabi or the relevant service provider has approved the new date or time.

9. Cancellations by Tabi or the Service Provider

Occasionally, an experience may need to be cancelled by Tabi or the relevant service provider due to operational, safety or other circumstances.

Where a confirmed booking is cancelled by the service provider and the customer is not responsible for the cancellation, we may offer, depending on the circumstances:

  • An alternative date
  • A comparable replacement experience
  • Booking credit where agreed
  • A refund of the eligible amount paid for the affected service

Available options will depend on the specific circumstances and the applicable provider's conditions.

10. Weather-Related Cancellations

Certain experiences depend on suitable weather and environmental conditions.

These may include:

  • Boat trips
  • Water activities
  • Helicopter flights
  • Desert activities
  • Outdoor attractions
  • Adventure activities

If an operator cancels an experience because conditions are considered unsafe, customers may be offered rescheduling, an alternative experience or an eligible refund depending on the applicable booking conditions.

A customer's personal decision not to participate because of weather does not automatically qualify for a refund if the operator confirms that the experience is operating normally.

11. Attraction or Venue Closure

If an attraction, venue or experience is closed by the operator, government authority or another responsible party, we will review the available options with the relevant provider.

Where appropriate, customers may be offered an alternative date, replacement experience or refund for the affected service.

12. Changes to Itineraries

Minor changes to routes, schedules, timings, vehicles, stops or itineraries do not automatically entitle a customer to a refund where the main booked service can still be reasonably provided.

Operational changes may sometimes be necessary because of traffic, road closures, weather, government restrictions, attraction availability or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

13. Partially Used Services

Once a tour, activity, transfer or experience has started, refunds are generally not available for any portion of the service that a customer chooses not to use.

This includes voluntarily leaving an experience early or deciding not to participate in part of an included itinerary.

14. Participation Restrictions

Some experiences have age, health, height, weight, identification, driving licence or other participation requirements.

Customers are responsible for reviewing these requirements before booking.

A refund may not be available where participation is refused because the customer does not meet clearly stated eligibility or safety requirements.

15. Customer Conduct

Refunds will generally not be provided where a customer is refused participation or removed from an experience because of unsafe, abusive, disruptive or unlawful behaviour.

Customers must comply with reasonable instructions provided by guides, drivers, attraction staff and activity operators.

16. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, Tabi will initiate the refund using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on:

  • Your bank
  • Card issuer
  • Payment gateway
  • Payment method
  • International transaction processing times

Once a refund has been processed from our side, Tabi cannot control the processing time of your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

17. Refund Method

Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the booking.

If the original payment method cannot be used, an alternative refund arrangement may be made where appropriate and subject to verification.

18. Payment and Bank Charges

Depending on the booking and payment method, certain transaction, payment gateway, bank or currency conversion charges may be non-refundable where those amounts were charged by third-party financial institutions or service providers.

Any applicable deductions will be communicated where relevant.

19. Promotional Offers and Discounted Bookings

Promotional rates, special offers, discounted tickets or limited-time deals may have separate cancellation and refund conditions.

Where special conditions apply, they will take precedence over the general provisions of this Refund Policy for the affected booking.

20. Private and Customised Experiences

Private tours, customised itineraries and specially arranged services may involve advance commitments to operators, vehicles, guides, venues or other suppliers.

As a result, different cancellation charges may apply to these bookings and certain payments may become non-refundable after confirmation.

21. Third-Party Provider Policies

Some services available through Tabi are operated by independent third-party providers.

Their individual cancellation, amendment and refund conditions may apply to the relevant booking.

Where provider-specific conditions differ from this general Refund Policy and were communicated as part of the booking, the provider-specific conditions will apply to that service.

22. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Refunds for cancellations caused by events outside reasonable control will be assessed according to the circumstances and the policies of the relevant service provider.

Such events may include:

  • Extreme weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Public emergencies
  • Security incidents
  • Transport disruption
  • Road closures
  • Attraction closures
  • Technical or infrastructure failures
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Where possible, we will work with the relevant service provider to identify reasonable alternatives for affected customers.

23. Refund Requests and Supporting Information

To help us review a refund request, we may ask you to provide:

  • Booking reference
  • Customer name
  • Booking date
  • Experience details
  • Payment information
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Relevant photographs, receipts or supporting documents where applicable

Providing complete information can help us review the request more efficiently.

24. Refund Decisions

Refund requests are reviewed according to the applicable booking conditions, service provider policy and circumstances of the request.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

Where a refund is not available, we may consider alternative options such as rescheduling or booking credit where permitted by the relevant service provider.

25. Changes to This Refund Policy

Tabi may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, booking processes, service provider requirements or applicable regulations.

The latest version will be published on tabi.ae with the updated revision date.
